Last Saturday, The Baroness stopped by Sweet Trash Vintage Clothier. Karen is not a real Baroness, but rather a lovely statuesque blonde who is getting ready to play the part of the Baroness in an upcoming local production of The Sound of Music. She really suits the part. She was looking for a pair of gloves so I rummaged through our 2 drawers of gloves to find a pair that would fit and suit her outfit for the show.

I cannot tell you how often people come into the store for the first time, look around at our fabulous collection of authentic vintage clothing and vintage accessories, and exclaim “If only I had an event to go to!”. There is this perception that one must dress in head-to-toe 1940s (or 1950s or 1960s) to wear vintage properly.
